Our Story
With no money, no truck, nothing but my faith in God that He would make a way for myself and my family. I started my business because I wanted the freedom to create my own path where I would be able to focus on all areas of my life- spiritually, mentally, my family, my health, and finances. My main focus would be not to allow the business to be the controlling force of my life. As my journey proceeded, I noticed that I was able to accomplish this goal by putting God first and allowing Him to work in my life. My core mission was to develop a business that communicated to our clients and actually performed what we said, when we said we would do it. We have continued this mission by showing up on time and performing work to meet or exceed the client’s expectations.

Safety is #1
Safety is always top priority at Micon. We feel a strong duty to protect our employees by being proactive and engaging our team in a culture of job site safety. To ensure we live up to this duty, we complete pre-employment and random drug screenings, pre-employment safety training, and weekly training on topics from our safety manual. We also hold “Tool Box Talks” weekly where we discuss safety protocols that are relevant to the job we are about to tackle. A safe job site means always working to locate weak points and improve our practices through analysis and training.
Experience & Skills:
Our president and owner, Chad Mizell is experienced and qualified in field crafts, construction project management, general management and supervision with training and experience in OSHA safety training and safety management. Throughout his career, Chad has managed industrial and commercial construction projects ranging in size and budget from $250,000 to $5 million. He has installed mass pour foundations up to 30,000 sqft and acquired a wide range of skills including estimating, strategic planning, group leadership, team building, business development and project management.
